Learn to Sail - you can do it!

KYC is an inclusive neighbourhood sailing club founded in 1934 with the goal of fostering amateur sailing on English Bay.

Vancouver has many yacht and sailing clubs, but the Kitsilano Yacht Club experience offers community, friendship, and the ability to get out on the water at any level and with any amount of experience.

KYC offers a number of opportunities to build your sailing skills, starting from lessons for those who have never sailed (or did a long time ago) to those who want to challenge themselves, want to introduce their partner to sailing (but are unsure how) or just want to improve their racing performance.

As your skill develops, it is easy to move into another of our programs to further build your skills and discover your inner athlete, regardless of age.
