Kitsilano Yacht Club is home to racing sailors
Kitsilano Yacht Club was founded in the summer of 1934 to foster amateur yachting on English Bay in Vancouver and encourage competition at the highest level. The club has been operating continuously since that date from its location near Kits pool, and is home to many active one-design sailing fleets, including the Star, 5o5, Martin 242, Lightning, and Cal 20.
Come and join in the racing and become a better sailor in a community of sailors! If you haven't raced before and are a bit nervous, join our Learn to Race program on Monday evenings, starting May 10.
